As you can see on these photos above, device is working even when second transformer (receiver) is rotated 90° relative to the transmitter ! ! ! That happens because electrical energy is transmitted through electric field (using copper plates as capacitors), NOT magnetic field, and therefore it's not bounded by magnetic induction law (90°).
If you take non-insulated metal plates in both of you hands, come closer to the transmitter and you'll notice that metal plates are burning you hands.
